Engine Warranty

Our engines are built to your engines exact serial number. This eliminates excessive labor hours or additional parts at install. Many engines can be installed in as little as eight hours. 


Pilot Engines, Reviva and ERI do not currently provide installation services. Reviva recommends using an ASE-certified repair facility or any OEM dealer. Engines should be installed using the OEM manual processes.

Pilot Engines provides the industry's leading remanufactured engines and we're proud to stand behind these products with a warranty to match.


Pilot Engines warrants to the original buyer that every product will be free from proven defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months after installation. All warranty work must be preauthorized by Pilot Engines.


  • On-highway diesel complete drop-in: Two years/unlimited miles (second year covers the long block portion)
  • On-highway long block: One year/unlimited mileage
  • Off-highway diesel complete drop-in: One year/2,000 hours

Components and Parts Warranty

Warranty period begins at date of installation or 30 days from shipment whichever comes first. All engines must be registered for warranty coverage to be activated.

Warranty Policy Guidelines

Warranty Policy Guidelines:
  1. All repairs or sublets must be PRE-APPROVED by Pilot Engines warranty department. Any work done without approval will not be considered for payment. Labor and repair times will be paid based on industry standards.
  2. Pilot Engines will not cover any excluded items outline in the limited policy & procedures. Some of those items include (but are not limited to): Towing, shop supplies, sales tax, consumables (oil, filters, etc.), mileage, downtime, mark-up, or rental.
  3. Incomplete forms will not be processed. Engine must have been registered at time of sale, Pilot Engines will not start a claim until complete registration information has been received from the original installer or vehicle owner.
  4. Repairing location must call Pilot Engines Warranty department (877-599-4806) upon completion of the repair and prior to the release of the vehicle to the owner. Payment will NOT be issued until failed product has been returned and analyzed.
